Christmas at a glance

Our cross-country holiday travel to Pocasmello went off without a hitch. We met my new baby niece, Halle, whose cry is not an actual cry but rather a series of squeaks. Eva is now the proud owner of 156 new books, 4,000 new toys, 1 pair of carhartt overalls, and a partridge in a pear tree. We had two Christmas celebrations, one with my family and one with Ferris', both which seemed warmer and sweeter than any I can remember. We were introduced to nintendo wii guitar hero, which Ferris played without interruption until the wee hours of the night, finally passed out, and then emerged the next morning bragging of psychedelic dreams of being a rock star. The main water valve to my parent's neighborhood burst on Christmas morning leaving us without water for the entire holiday. I had to wash the dishes in the backyard snow. I did not use the internet and did not have my cell phone on for 3 consecutive days, a record. My nieces and I built a castle out of gorilla blocks and Christmas bows...then we tore it down and pummeled each other with blocks for 7 straight minutes.

The holiday vacation is only half-over...plenty more to come.

p.s. Weight watchers, who? Pie, good.

So much fun!!! I love the pictures of Eva just smiling in the bag (but what is with the bag?). It is wonderful to spend Christmas with loved ones. Glad to see you had a fun time.
